A week in kwaZulu-Natal 31.5-7.6.2012 Part III and last

Nous quittons le sud des Drakensberg pour le nord, la region ou se trouvent Giant’s Castle, Cathedral Peak, l’Amphitheatre, endroit fabuleux qui méritent (pour ceux qui aiment les marches) le détour et un séjour prolongé.  Le « Amphitheatre Backpacker » est un joli endroit, il y en a pour tous les gouts, le bar est grand avec un jacuzzi ! (si si) et un sauna ….. (pas beaucoup d’amateurs !) Le repas n’est pas terrible, mais le cocktail Bob Marley est plutôt sympathique !

We are living the south of the Drakensberg for the north, the region where Giant’s Castle, Cathedral Peak and the famous Amphitheatre are, amazing area as well (especially for those who like to hike !) which need more time than a day visit. The “Amphitheatre Backpacker” is a nice place to stay there are different accommodations available and a huge bar with a Jacuzzi (yes in the bar!) and a sauna (not a lot of candidates though!). The food is not great but the Bob Marley cocktail is quite nice!

Le lendemain nous repartons en passant par le parc du Royal Natal, nous allons voire des peintures rupestres (pas le temps pour les balades !) et repartons ensuite sur Johannesburg ! Les vacances s’achèvent pour moi ! Sophie et Jennifer ont encore quelques jours de plus ! Quelle belle semaine !

The next day we are leaving, going through the Royal Natal Park first, where there are interesting San paintings to be seen (next to the hikes) the drive back to Joburg is a bit boring ... My leaves are over, Sophie and Jennifer have a few more days! What a nice week !
